Facts about your District
The graph below was the result of a survey taken by the District to obtain information from our customers as to how water is used in the District. Fifty-four customers responded to the survey - a little less than half. As the survey indicates, a little more than half of those responding indicated indoor use only, and it also indicates there are very few lawns in the area.
A survey will be forthcoming with third quarter water bills asking the question do you use a "bleeder" in your home.
The Board of Directors believes it important to not only know much water is being used in the District, but how it is being used.
A new "Magnetic Flow Meter" will be installed soon which will be used to measure overflow at the water tank. This will also inform the Board as to how much water is being received but not being used. It is helpful to know that the District has enough water to serve a future demand.
